A Celebration of Life Service for Jeannine M. Doubek, age 85, will be on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at 4 PM at the Funeral Home. Jeannine died on March 30, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a resident of Richmond Heights for 51 years.

Jeannine graduated from John Adams High School, was a homemaker and Ophthalmic Assistant for 20 years with Dr. Phillip Kazdan. Jeannine was also a member of the International Order of the Rainbow For Girls. She adored her children, traveling and reading. Jeannine loved her family and friends as they were her passion and delight. She also treasured her German heritage, especially when it came to making German Christmas Dinners. Jeannine will be remembered by her family and friends as warm, caring and thoughtful. She made friends wherever she went and lived for her children. Jeannine will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children Randall E. Doubek and Barbara A. Tekavec (husband James); her childhood best friend Shirley Fromweller; and her beloved cocker spaniel canine companion Winston.

Ms. Doubek was preceded in death by her parents William H. and Annette M. (nee Rauch) Hinske.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Jeannine at The DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home of Willoughby Hills, 28890 Chardon Road (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) Sunday 1-4 PM. Private Burial in Fowlers Mill II Cemetery in Munson Township. Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. In lieu of flowers, contributions be made in Jeannine’s memory to Hospice of the Western Reserve 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
