JEAN ONORATO (nee Lauria) age 87, beloved wife for 63 years of Cono; loving mother of James (wife Karen), Rick (wife Kathy), Sal (wife Sandie) and Ron; devoted grandmother of 9; dearest sister of Frances Burant (husband Raymond).
Jean was born in Cleveland on October 23, 1931 and passed away on April 10, 2019. For 50 years, Jean was a resident of Pepper Pike, formerly of Lyndhurst, as well as a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She graduated in 1949 from John Adams High School, and worked as a homemaker. She enjoyed golf, along with the music of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and the rest of the Rat Pack. A selfless and giving woman, Jean was also caring, loving, and devoted. She was very sociable and outgoing, with a fun sense of humor. Jean will be dearly missed.
Contributions may be made in memory of Jean to the American Heart Association 1375 E. 9th St. #600, Cleveland, Oh 44114. Relatives and friends are invited for meet for the Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 10:30 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Entombment following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to celebrate Jean’s life at Landerhaven, 6111 Landerhaven Dr. in Mayfield Heights, immediately following the cemetery at 1 PM.
