JEAN H. KUHAR (nee Gorzelanczyk) age 84, beloved wife of the late Elmer; loving mother of Kathleen Brlecic (husband John), Peggy, Kevin (wife Laurie), and Karen Jarem (husband Tony); devoted grandmother of Ryan Brlecic, Dana Bickel (husband Adam), Allison Spisak (husband Shaun), Bennett, Mallory Jarem, Gregory, Nicole and Jillian Jarem and great-grandmother of Audrey Brlecic; dearest sister of Eleanor Pawlik, and the late Stanley, Chester, Walter, Eugene, Benjamin, and John Gorzelanczyk; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.
Jean was born on September 26, 1933 in Cleveland and passed away August 24, 2018 in Mentor where she had been a resident for the past 20 years. She graduated from St. Stanislaus High School and she was a homemaker; as well as a stenographer at US Steel. Jean was a lifelong member of St. Vitus Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and her grandchildren. Jean’s favorite music was Polkas and Big Band. The most enjoyment in her life was following her grandchildren with their sports at St. Edward, Lake Catholic and Northwestern. She loved to tell jokes and was very funny. Jean was loving, caring, strong, friendly, and outgoing. She was selfless, giving and always about being there for her children. She will be dearly missed.
Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 9:30 AM at St. Vitus Catholic Church, 6019 Lausche Ave, Cleveland, Ohio 44103. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Jean at THE ZEVNIK-COSIC FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) MONDAY 4-8 PM.
