Jean L. Busanus

JEAN L. BUSANUS (nee Kastner), aged 88 years, beloved wife of the late Howard W., dearest mother of James W. (wife Martha), Patricia J. Stenko (husband Michael) and B.A. “Betty Ann” Hohman (husband Robert – deceased), loving grandmother of Jessica Schmidt, Kimberly Hinton, Haley Hohman-Hebert, Taryn Hohman and Gregory Busanus, great-grandmother of Lilli Ann Marie Hebert, cherished sister of Glenn Kastner (wife Madge), fond aunt and grand-aunt to many.

Jean was a 40-year pre-school teacher, and was a very active member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, serving as a choir member and Sunday school teacher. Jean loved music, playing the French Horn in the Bell Choir. She also belonged to the Linwood Club and looked forward to gatherings on Lake Erie.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Our Savior Lutheran Church, 2154 SOM Center Road, Mayfield Heights, Ohio 44124. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 16, 2013 in Our Savior Lutheran Church at 10:30 AM. Private burial in Lutheran Cemetery. The family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Jean at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.) on SUNDAY from 2:00 to 5:00 PM.
