Jay entered the heavenly gates on June 29, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving his family and friends missing his love, humor, and kindness.
Jay was born on April 15, 1951, in Cleveland, Ohio. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a drummer in the military band. As an artist at heart, Jay always paused to appreciate the beauty in nature, music, and the people around him.
Jay loved motorcycles and riding with friends. He was extremely social and knew no strangers. He was truly loved by everyone he met and kept his friends and family laughing with his crazy jokes and antics.
Jay was the loving father of Melissa (husband Alex); devoted Papa of Ben and Nate; cherished son of the late John and Donne (nee Eppick); dearest brother of Shelley and the late Glen; cherished friend of many.
Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Jay at THE ZEVNIK-COSIC FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 12-2 PM.
A prayer service with military honors will immediately follow at 2PM at the funeral home.
