Janice Rubertino

JANICE RUBERTINO (nee Gonso) age 72, passed away November 12, 2021. Beloved wife for 32 years of Dominick; loving mother of Dominick (wife Marge), John, Mark, Beth Gangidine (husband William), Ann Beck (husband Theron), and Susan Goley (husband George); devoted grandmother of John, Kimberly, Samantha Gangidine, Carolyn Loebig (husband Jay), and George Goley (wife Laura) and great-grandmother of James Goley, Lyla Loebig, Vince Loebig, and Aurelia Goley; cherished daughter of the late Charles Gonso and Letha (nee Copeland) Gonso; dearest sister of Charles Gonso (wife Patricia) and Carol Spring (husband Terry); dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Janice was born in Euclid Hospital on March 29, 1949 and passed away on November 12, 2021. Janice was an alumnus of Andrews School and graduated in 1968. She was a resident of Wickliffe for 40 years. She was employed as a bus driver for the Mayfield School System for many years. She was a member of the St. Noel Catholic Church for 30 years where she enjoyed playing in the Bell Choir. She enjoyed trips to the casino, playing cards, crossword puzzles, traveling to Atlantic City and Las Vegas, and going on cruises. Janice is remembered as giving, caring, and devoted to her family and faith. Family is where she found joy and happiness. She will be dearly missed in the days to come by so many who love her.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Janice to Hospice of the Western Reserve or Lake County Humane Society.

Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at St. Noel Catholic Church 35200 Chardon Rd, Willoughby Hills, OH 44094 at 11 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Janice at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) on Monday, November 15, 2021 from 4-7PM.
