Janice M. Yanky

JANICE M. YANKY (nee Saben) age 70, beloved wife for 38 years of Clifford; loving mother of Margo Meyers; devoted grandmother of Nicholas and Casey; cherished daughter of the late Rusell and Lois Saben; dearest sister of David (wife Loretta); dear aunt and great-aunt of many. Survived by her faithful companion Mac.

Janice was born March 11, 1948 in Cleveland and passed away November 24, 2018 in Mayfield Heights.  She has been a resident of Solon for the past 15 years, previous in the Mayfield area, and attended The Church in Aurora.  Janice graduated from Mayfield Heights High School in 1966.  She was an Administrative Assistant for Developers Diversified were she retired.  She currently worked for Action Contractors (loved the Vecchio family!)  Janice enjoyed playing chess, playing the piano, gardening and feeding the birds and racoons.  She loved the outdoors and flowers.  Her grandchildren, family and dog, Mac, gave her the most enjoyment in life.  Janice’s favorite holiday was Christmas Eve.  She was kind, loving, fun and a good cook.  Janice will be dearly missed.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Janice to Northeast Ohio SPCA, 9555 Brookpark Road, Parma, Ohio 44129 Celebration of Life Service Friday November 30, 2018 at 10 AM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Burial following at Whitehaven Memorial Park. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Janice at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) THURSDAY 4 – 8 PM.
