Janice Catalano

JANICE A. CATALANO age 63, beloved mother of Cori Sieger (husband Trey) and Dana McKinney (husband Adam); devoted and loving grandmother of Annabelle and Lizzie Sieger and Janice Mae McKinney; cherished daughter of the late Elizabeth DeSantis (nee Agresta) and Nicholas Catalano and step-daughter of the late Vito DeSantis; dearest sister of Lori DeSantis; loving aunt of Karli and Logan Gross; dear niece, cousin and friend of many.

Jan was born on April 24, 1953 and passed away on July 22, 2016. She was a member of St. Noel Catholic Church. She graduated Mayfield High School in 1972, and worked as a medical recruiter. She was a proud and doting mother and grandmother and found the most enjoyment in life in being with her family and friends. She surrounded her girls with love and endless encouragement. She was a devoted daughter, big sister and auntie. She loved a day on the golf course, dancing, movie nights and music. She was blessed with a tremendous capacity to love, endless depths of compassion, a generous spirit, gentleness, a fantastic sense of humor, and a beautiful sense of style and grace and hospitality. Jan was a loving, faithful, and loyal best friend and deeply connected to those closest to her. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at St. Noel Catholic Church 35200 Chardon RD Willoughby Hills, OH at 10 AM. Entombment following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Jan at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) TUESDAY 2-4 & 5-8 PM.
