Janet Heinz

Private Family Services were held for Janet (nee Radder) Heinz, 92, of Mentor.  Ms. Heinz died on Saturday Feb. 21, 2015 at Tri-Point Medical Center.  She was a resident of Mentor for over 50 years previously residing in Willowick and Cleveland Heights.

Janet worked in Material Control for many years at Motch & Merriweather in Euclid.  She loved her crafts, gardening, making silk flower arrangements, being by the beach and fast cars.  Janet loved playing games, including gin rummy, pinochle and Scrabble.  Her two sons were her pride and her life was devoted to them and her grandchildren.  Her family describes her as pleasant, a great cook, fair and a person with a kind soul.

She is survived by her sons Jay (Sandra) Hardway and Jac Hardway; grandchildren Paul (Robin) Hardway and Christie (Michael) Cipolla; and great-grandchildren Jacob, Juliet, Mya, Olivia and Roselyn.

Ms. Heinz was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Dale Leverett.

Private Burial took place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg.  Family suggests contributions be made in Janet’s memory to Cru City (Campus Crusade for Christ) 100 Lake Hart Drive Dept. 5200 Orlando, FL 32832.
