Janet Griffiths

JANET M. GRIFFITHS (nee Immarino) age 75, loving mother of Johnna Bowen (husband John), Rebecca Fox (husband Tom), Jennifer Mackey (husband J.T.) and the late Geoffrey; devoted grandmother of Tommy, Alex and Eddie Fox, Ben and Abby Mackey; cherished daughter of the late Anthony and Lenore (nee Mulholland) Immarino; dearest sister of Richard, Thomas (wife Anita) and the late William Immarino; former wife of R. Reuss Griffiths; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Janet was born March 30, 1941 in Cleveland and passed away October 20, 2016. Janet had lived at Light of Hearts Villa for the past eight years and was active in the bell choir and Cozy Corner there.  Janet graduated from Villa Angela High School in 1959 and was a homemaker.  She enjoyed bowling, taking day trips with her Light of Hearts friends, picnicking in the park and sewing quilts, blankets and clothes.  Janet will be remembered as a kind and caring woman, who always put others, especially family, above all else.  She will also be missed for her great sense of humor.

Mass of Christian Burial Monday, October 24, 2016 at the Chapel at Light of Hearts Villa at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Janet at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) SUNDAY 2-6 PM and MONDAY 9-10 AM at Light of Hearts Villa.
