Janet F. Harris

JANET F. HARRIS (nee Craig), age 89. Beloved wife of the late Robert O. Loving mother of Lynne May (husband Dennis), Laurie Staple (husband Edmund) and Leslie Harmon (Richard). Devoted grandmother of Jenny Caronchi (husband Christian), Owen May and great-grandmother of Andrew and Owen. Cherished daughter of the late James and Helen (nee Fernie) Craig.

Janet was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary #79 to Clan Grant (Shano). She was also a trustee of the Ohio Scottish Games. Janet worked as a secretary for the Mayfield Heights Board of Education after studying Journalism at the former Fenn College. She loved gardening, ballroom dancing and any activity connected to her Scottish heritage. Her greatest joy came from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Janet’s family remembers her as a kind and outgoing person always generous and giving with her many friends whom she always loved entertaining.

A Tribute Service will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at 11:00 AM at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.). Interment following at Knollwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Janet at the funeral home on Monday, December 6, 2010 from 4-8 PM.
