Jane Zernic

JANE ZERNIC (nee Kopylec) age 87, beloved wife of the late Joseph; loving mother of Christine Bretz (husband Dennis), Thomas, Patricia Sciarabba (husband Anthony) and the late Kimberly Gerrone and Joseph, Jr.; devoted grandmother of Clay and Caylie Bretz and Anthony Jr. and Vincent Sciarabba; cherished daughter of the late George and Vernie (nee Brink) Kopylec; dearest sister of the late Harry, Robert, Raymond, Thomas, Charles and Josephine; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Jane was born April 2, 1937 in Glen Campbell, Pennsylvania. She married Joseph, the love of her life, and together they raised five children. Jane delighted in being a devoted wife, loving mother, meticulous and organized homemaker and eventually becoming a caring grandmother. Outside of family responsibilities, she found enjoyment playing poker machines in Las Vegas, playing cards, taking long drives that included lunch, shopping in boutiques, going to dinner, watching the Indians and Browns and listening to Tom Jones and Engelbert Humperdinck. Her large circle of friends will remember her friendly personality and wonderful sense of humor. Jane passed away on March 8, 2025 and will be forever missed by her loving family.
