Jane Wagner

JANE E. WAGNER (nee Smoleny) age 62, beloved wife for 22 years of Robert; loving mother of Kristyn; cherished daughter of Elaine (nee Pucell) and the late George Smoleny; dearest sister of John Smoleny (wife Paula) and the late George Smoleny; treasured daughter-in-law of Shirley (nee Ray) and the late Laurence Wagner; fond sister-in-law of Daniel and Susan Wagner, Mary and Duane Petrovich, Joseph Wagner and Laurence Wagner; dear niece, aunt and great-aunt of many.

Jane was born on December 31, 1955 in Cleveland and passed away on December 9, 2018. She was a resident of Highland Heights for 17 years, formerly of Euclid. Jane graduated from Lumen Cordium High School in 1974 and Akron University in 1978. She worked for Cuyahoga County Children and Family Services. Jane loved hiking, camping, painting and traveling. Her family gave Jane the most enjoyment in life and she was a devoted mother. Jane will be remembered most as a smart, outgoing, friendly, funny and witty woman. She was very hospitable and an outstanding hostess and cook with many friends. Jane will be dearly missed.

Celebration of Life Service Friday, December 14, 2018 at 7:30 PM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Cremation following by DeJohn Crematory. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Jane at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.)  FRIDAY 3-7:30 PM.
