Jane Mccroskey

JANE McCROSKEY was born on Dec. 11, 1946 in McKeesport, PA, and grew up in Clairton, PA. In high school, Jane worked as an administrative assistant at US Steel. She went on to graduate from the College of Wooster in 1968 with a BA in mathematics. As a pioneer for women in business, Jane was one of the first two women hired for the Financial Management Program at General Electric Nela Park. She went on to have a very successful career at GE, spanning nearly 50 years.

Jane truly was a renaissance woman who enjoyed traveling the world, dancing and having fun, spending time with her husband and family, and volunteering. She spent many hours trying to save the world one puppy at a time!

She will be greatly missed by husband Dan, daughters Katie and Susan, and her two dogs and one cat. The family requests that any memorial gifts be directed to Best Friends Animal Society, Hospice of the Western Reserve, or the Cleveland Metro Parks.

The family will receive friends to pay tribute to Jane at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.) SATURDAY, NOV. 3, 2018 FROM 1-5 PM.
