James Sweeney

JAMES T. SWEENEY age 60, cherished son of the late Michael and Eileen (nee Byrne); dearest brother of Colleen Sweeney ( husband Herb Ascherman), Patrick (wife Sallie), Maureen Kallos (husband David) and the late Michael and Daniel; dear uncle of Christopher, Robert (wife Kaela) and Melissa Sweeney (husband Charles Taylor); dearest nephew, cousin and lifelong friend of many.

Jim was born in Cleveland on April 9, 1960 and passed away suddenly on February 26, 2021. Jim treasured time with his family and he will always be remembered as a wonderful storyteller with great sense of Irish humor. He was humble, caring, and giving. Jim was devoted to his family, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Jim to the Cleveland Food Bank, 15500 S. Waterloo Rd, Cleveland OH 44110.

Relatives and Friends are invited to the Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 11 AM at St. Noel Catholic Church 35200 Chardon Rd., Willoughby Hills, OH 44094. Burial will take place on a later date at All Souls Cemetery.
