JAMES R. “JIM” MEDVE, age 73. Beloved son of the late Frank and Margaret (nee Grumpner). Loving brother of Joseph P. (wife Ann Marie) and the late John, Frank, and Stephen “Ed”. Dear uncle and great uncle and great friend to many. U.S. Army Veteran. A graduate of Benedictine High School and John Carroll University, Jim was an avid golfer who had 3 holes in one. Jim worked for Manakiki Golf Course during his retirement after being previously employed at the Greater Cleveland Hospital Association, Blue Cross Blue Shield and SEI Health Care Associates.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, October 19, 2012 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Jim at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) THURSDAY 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
