JAMES T. MORRIS age 37, beloved  son of Robert and Patricia (nee Sweeny); loving brother of Joseph (wife Stacey) and Meghan; devoted uncle to Aiden James and Kennedi Rose; cherished grandson of James and the late Lillian (nee Stroyan) Sweeny and the late Thomas and Marjorie (nee George) Morris; dearest nephew of Thomas (wife Gloria), Kevin (wife Debbie) and Brian (wife Elizabeth) Morris, Timothy Sweeny (wife Melissa), Kathleen Oliphant (husband Jerry) and Kevin Sweeny (wife Lisa); special great nephew of the late Mabel Sweeny; dear cousin and friend of many.

Jimmy was born on March 29, 1980 and passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on April 3, 2017. He was a 19 year resident of Highland Heights previously of South Euclid. Jimmy was a member of The Gathering Place. He graduated from St. Ignatius High School in 1998 and attended Muskingum University. Jimmy was a volunteer for the Cleveland Clinic Volunteer Services. Jimmy’s best friend was his canine companion Petey. He enjoyed golf, watching OSU sports, Cleveland sports and spending time with his nephew and niece. Jimmy enjoyed listening to Metallica, Pearl Jam and Led Zeppelin. He had great courage, was inspirational, a fighter, strong, humorous, witty, compassionate, kind and very positive. Jimmy will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday April 7, 2017 at St. Clare Catholic Church at 11:30 AM. Burial following at Lake View Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Jimmy at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) THURSDAY 1-3 and 4-8 PM.
