JAMES G. MINARDO, age 96. Beloved husband for 71 years of Virginia (nee Radis); loving father of Diane Krizman (husband Tom) and Mariellyn Stevenson (husband R. Jan); devoted grandfather of Jennifer Leisinger (husband Brad), Gregory (wife Lisa) and Brian Krizman, Philip and Virginia Stevenson and great-grandfather of Sadie, Joey and Luke Leisinger and Jake Krizman. Cherished son of the late Carl and Mary (nee Gullo); dearest brother of Johanna Bertolone (husband Michael, deceased), Thomas (wife Marie, deceased), Rita Bennici (husband Joseph), Samuel (wife Rose), Mary McMillan (husband Matt McMillan, Sam Bonsignore, deceased) and the late Josephine Nasca (husband Sam, deceased), Joseph (wife Genevive, deceased), Charles (wife Katherine, deceased) and Carmela Buemi (husband Bill), treasured brother-in-law of Nancy and Wally Lojewski and the late Al Radis (wife Betty) and Frank Radis (wife Shirley,deceased); dear uncle and great-uncle of many.
Jim was a member of the Knights of Columbus Gilmour Council # 310. He was a World War II US Navy Veteran. Contributions may be made in Jim’s memory to the charity of your choice. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 9, 2012 at St Clare Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Entombment following with military honors at All Souls Mausoleum. The family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Jim at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) on SUNDAY from 2:00 to 6:00 PM.
