Jim was born on April 11, 1929, and passed away on February 19, 2024. He was a resident of Mayfield Heights for the past 56 years. Jim was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and of the United Auto Workers Union. He retired from General Motors where he had worked as an electrician for many years. Jim loved to play cards, especially poker, garden and barbeque. He enjoyed the music of Frank Sinatra and Frankie Valle. His favorite family times were Labor Day picnics, Christmas parties and cookouts. His family and grandkids gave him the greatest joy in life. Jim helped everyone – he was the one to call and was even called “Mr. Wizard”. He was known for having a strong opinion, boisterous and sometimes a bit bossy, but he was loved dearly. He will be missed sorely by all who knew and loved him.
