James R. Krueger, age 76, of Hambden, passed away at his home January 31, 2015. He was born June 9, 1938 in Cleveland. Jim was a graduate of Burton High School. He was employed for 25 years at the City of Chardon. Prior to that, he was a self-employed as a contractor.
Jim was always busy helping family, friends and neighbors with home repairs and woodworking projects in his workshop. He enjoyed fellowship with his Men’s Bible Study group at Morning Star Friends Church. Jim participated with Geauga Christians Youth Missions. Jim was a humble servant and a candle shining bright for the Lord. He was truly a gentle man.
Survivors include his wife Holly, daughters Lisa Krueger, Tricia (Brandon) Stewart, grandchildren Bailey and Brent, stepson Bryan Gribbons, sister Beverly (Donald) Williams, brother Robert Bernick and sister-in-law Maryanne Dunning. He was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Gertrude Messner, brothers Richard (Gloria) Messner and Richard Dunning.
