JAMES JOSEPH KINNAIRD age 65, loving father of James (wife Meghan), Danielle Jocek (husband Mark) and Amber Valek; devoted grandfather of Ashley, Jillian, Abigail, Colin, James, Mackenzie and Mya (both deceased), Weston, Jackson, Joseph and Madelyn and great-grandfather of Levi and Theodore; cherished son of the late Wilhelm and Joan (nee Klouda); dearest brother of the late William (wife Peg deceased); former husband of Mary Anne; dear uncle of Ian Kinnaird.
Born in Euclid in 1959, James grew up in the Chesterland area, graduating from West Geauga High School in 1977. Being a man of faith, he attended St. Mark Lutheran Church in Chesterland. James was a hard worker, but he also loved to play. A long-term member of the Local #310 Laborers Union, he was employed by Panzica Construction for many years. During leisure time, James found great enjoyment riding his Harley motorcycle, working on cars and listening to classic rock. His many seasonal activities included golfing, snowmobiling, skiing, hunting, fishing and cheering on the Cleveland Indians. With his friendly personality and sense of humor, he had many friends. But, above all, James was deeply devoted to his family. On September 14, 2024, James passed away. His warmth, humor and smile will be forever missed.
