JIMMY (JAMES) THOMAS BELFIORE age 39, cherished son of James and Denise (nee Spishock); dearest brother of Julie Belfiore; dear friend of many.
Jimmy was born on October 20, 1981 and died September 2, 2021. He began his life in Mayfield and moved to Mentor in the late 80’s graduating from Mentor High School in 2000. He went on to earn his certificate in Video Production from Lakeland Community College. He served as an intern for the Cleveland Indians and operated the scoreboard at Progressive Field.
Jimmy was an accomplished skateboarder, falling in love with the sport when he was seven years old. It isn’t an exaggeration to say that skateboarding was his life, from the clothes he wore, the music he listened to and the friends he chose.
Music was an important part of his life, especially punk rock. Some of his favorite bands included Rancid, Social Distortion and Green Day. In addition to skateboarding, Jimmy enjoyed astronomy, computers and gaming,
Jimmy was a free-spirit with a generous heart. He was loving and kind. Jimmy was outgoing and would say anything to anyone. He was one of the funniest people most people knew and could make anyone laugh.
He will be dearly missed.
