JAMES P. FITTIPALDI, age 85, beloved husband for 51 years of the late Margaret “Peg” (nee Emser); loving father of Cheryl Korim (husband Michael), Nick, Laurie Yuhas, James (wife Sandra) and Frank; devoted grandfather of Nicole Furman (Brian), Michael Korim, Mark Korim, Joseph Yuhas, Ashleigh, Danielle Yuhas, Dominique, Heather and Rick Messer and great-grandfather of Ian and Sydny; cherished son of the late Nicholas and Ann (nee Cavanaugh); treasured brother of the late Peggy Darrah; dear uncle and great-uncle of many. U.S. Army Veteran.
James was born April 18, 1930 in Cleveland and passed away November 9, 2015. He graduated from Shaw High School in 1949 and joined the Army, where he boxed and played football. James was a Sales Representative and then an Owner/Operator in the Auto Industry. He loved all sports, but especially liked to box, golf and bowl. James enjoyed Frank Sinatra, cigars and pipes. His family gave him the greatest enjoyment in life and he will be missed for his sense of humor and his gentle, quiet and loving nature.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, November 14, 2015 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 11:30 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of James at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY 4-8 PM.
