James F. Jacobson

JAMES F. JACOBSON, age 75. Beloved husband for 54 years of Bernice (nee Lampart); loving father of Shirley Jacobson Mellado and Renee Hersman of GA; devoted adoring papa of Lauren Ashley Mellado; dearest brother of the late Marie Powers and Jack (wife Betty); dear uncle, great-uncle and great-great-uncle of many. U.S. Army Veteran.

A proud graduate of St. Joseph High School in 1955, Jim was the owner and operator of a systems analysis company. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish/St Gregory the Great Church for 40 years where he was an usher. He greatly enjoyed his kids and granddaughter as well as playing Pinochle and his Lionel Trains. His family will remember him as a loving, kind man with a gentle soul.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, January 3, 2013 at St Gregory the Great Catholic Church of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish at 11 AM. Burial following with military honors at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Jim at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) WEDNESDAY 4-8 PM.
