James F. Bushnell

Celebration of Life service for James F. Bushnell, 78, will be on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 10 AM at The DeJohn Funeral Home & Crematory of Chardon. Mr. Bushnell was a 45 year resident of Geneva.

Mr. Bushnell was born November 7, 1937 to the late Glenn and Emma Bushnell, and passed away on Sunday March 6, 2016. James attended Chardon High school and worked as a Disposal Service driver for many years. Mr. Bushnell was a National Guard Veteran. He enjoyed life and loved working outside and gardening. James was a fan of country music and spending time with animals. He will be remembered as a loving, determined man who loved his family and friends.

James is survived by his wife of 50 years Anna (nee Belden); His children Glena Foster (husband Robert), Bonnie Spaulding (husband Eddie), Glenn Bushnell (wife Stephanie), Sandy Spaulding, and Jenny Plecha (husband Bill); and cherished Grandfather of Robert, Steven, and David Foster, Tiffany Thompson, Samantha Spaulding, Sydney and Shelby Bushnell, Scott and Krystal Ramsey, Sianna Atwood, and Michelle Plecha; dear brother of Catherine Bushnell and the late Paul Bushnell, Edith Melvin (husband Ralph), and Helen Stone (husband Wayne).

He was preceded in death by his parents Glenn and Emma Bushnell.
