Jim was born in Harrisburg, PA on April 14, 1958 and passed away on April 3, 2018, just shy of completing his 60th year of life. He graduated from Mayfield High School in 1977, and lived in Mentor the past 10 years, previously in Euclid. He was a hard worker, and for 20 years was a dedicated employee of Component Repair Technologies (CRT) in Mentor.
Jim loved music, especially Pink Floyd and The Allman Brothers. He was known for his Thanksgiving tradition of listening to the song “Alice’s Restaurant” by Arlo Guthrie. Jim enjoyed being around his family and friends, especially at July 4th parties. He was described as positive and an eternal optimist, which was important since he was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. Jim always spoke well of everyone and loved life. He will be dearly missed.
