JAMES C. EISMON, age 74; beloved former husband of Patricia; loving father of James P. (wife Brittany) and Jennifer (husband Jon Sabo); devoted grandfather of Ava and Tommy; dearest brother of Jack (wife Mary Ellen), Vonda Dalessandro and Ron (wife Lil); dear uncle and great-uncle of many; survived by his faithful dog and best friend Charlie.

Jim was a long-time resident of Auburn Township previously living in Munson Township.
He worked many years as an Educator in the school districts of Mayfield, Richmond Hts., Kenston and Garrettsville. He retired from the Cuyahoga County Board of Mental Retardation. Born August 9, 1939 in Mt. Zion, West Virginia he was a graduate of Kent State and John Carroll Universities earning a Masters in Education Administration. Jim was a former member of Euclid Lodge No. 599 F & AM of Ohio. He loved playing and coaching football and wrestling. He enjoyed golfing, gardening, building homes, and watching Westerns and the History Channel. He was passionate about the care and treatment of animals. Jim is described by his family as kind, sensitive, compassionate, a gentleman, stubborn and with a quirky, dry sense of humor.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Jim’s memory to Geauga Humane Society’s Rescue Village, 15463 Chillicothe Rd., Russell Twp., 44072. Cremation by DeJohn Crematory.
