James Edward Lafontaine

JAMES EDWARD LaFONTAINE, aged 78 years, survived by his ex-wife Laurie LaFontaine (nee Schiemann), dear father of Christopher J., Douglas B. (wife Darlene), Renee M. Kucera, James R. (wife Cheryl) and Andrea M. Wimer, loving grandfather and great-grandfather, beloved son of the late Walter Edward and Catherine (nee Alig), fond brother of Thelma Johnson.

Jim was an honorably discharged U.S. Army Veteran, President of Emco Elevators in downtown Cleveland, and following retirement, traveled extensively with Laurie in their R.V., living in Florida, Arizona, Texas and Tennessee before returning to Ohio.

Funeral services along with Military Honors will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013 in Wade Chapel of Lake View Cemetery at 2:30 PM. Family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Jim at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.) SATURDAY FROM 12:30 PM UNTIL THE PROCESSION TO LAKE VIEW CEMETERY AT 2:00 PM.
