Jacqueline A. “Jackie” Porter (Kirby)

Jacqueline A. “Jackie” Porter (nee Kirby) age 79, passed away on May 20th 2013 after a 2 year battle with cancer, surrounded by her family. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Jack and Kathy (nee Paytosh) Kirby. She lived in Mentor before moving to Huntsburg , Ohio 32 years ago. Jackie was a bookkeeper for automobile dealerships working for Spears, Village Dodge and Chuck Ohl Chevy. After retiring she was a sales representative for Avon in the Geauga County area.

Jackie is survived by her husband of 57 years, Wayne L Porter; son Ronald ((Diane) Parsons; daughters Kathleen (Alan) Rutledge, Diane (John) Wagner and Paula (Tom) Marshall; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grand-children; brother Jack (Eileen) Kirby, sisters Kathleen (Ed) Kindler, Marilyn (Curtis) McFarlin and Rose Kirby.

Jackie had a love of family and her animals. She took her horse for rides in the metro parks for years, until her illness at age 77.

A private family memorial service was held on May 24th, 2013 at the funeral home officiated by Rev. Fr. Eric Jared Orndorff. Burial followed at All Souls Mausoleum, Chardon, Ohio
