Isabel Manett

ISABEL E. MANETT (nee McGurer), aged 87 years, beloved wife for 52 years to the late Earl W., dearest mother of Richard E. (wife Kirby), Bruce A. (wife Martha) and Edward K. (wife Patricia), loving grandmother of Bill (Amy), A.J. (Halley) and Tricia, step-grandmother to John and Hannah (A.J.), great-grandmother of Isabel and Carter, devoted daughter of the late Edward and Nora (nee Burr) McGurer, cherished sister to the late Agnes Gura, Edward, Leonard and Fred McGurer, treasured aunt and grand-aunt.

Isabel was born on April 2, 1929 in Cleveland and passed away on May 14, 2016. She was a lifelong resident of Mayfield Heights and a member of Mayfield United Methodist Church. Isabel was an active volunteer in the community, including the Mayfield Mayor’s Golf Outing and being a score keeper for Mayfield Boys Baseball League. She graduated from Mayfield Heights High School and was a secretary for Oakville School in the Mayfield School System. Isabel love to play the organ and travel to Florida. She will be remembered by her family and friends as a loving, caring, giving, and positive woman who was always smiling. Isabel was very generous of her time and selfless. She will be greatly missed.

Celebration of Life Service Friday, May 20, 2016 at the funeral home at 11 AM. Burial following at Knollwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Isabel at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.) FRIDAY MORNING 10-11 AM.
