Irene Forgan

IRENE L. FORGAN (nee Katona) age 91; beloved wife of the late William G.; loving mother of Carol J. Salupo (husband Adrian); cherished daughter of the late Steve and Anna (nee Beranek) Katona; dearest sister of Anne Kolke (husband Ken), Evelyn Ruvolo (husband Sam, deceased) and the late Alex Katona, (wife Malvine, deceased), Eugene Katona (wife Melana, deceased), and Priscilla Callaghan (husband James, deceased); dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Irene was a member of St Clare Church Choir and her gift of song will be remembered by many. She lived in Brunswick and prior to that Mayfield Heights. She graduated from John Hay High School and worked as a Claims Administrator for Accordia Insurance Agency. Some of Irenes hobbies include ceramics and singing. She loved her dogs and cats. Irene was very outgoing, loving, warm, caring and hospitable. She always made people feel like family and was the life of the party. Irene will be missed greatly by her daughter, son-in-law, family and friends.

Relatives and friends are requested to meet for the Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, December 4, 2014 at St. Clare Catholic Church 5659 Mayfield Rd Lyndhurst, OH 44124 at 10:30 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Irene at THE WAITE & SON FUNERAL HOME 3300 CENTER RD (RTE 303 & I-71), BRUNSWICK, OH 44212 WEDNESDAY 4-8 PM.
