Hilda Rom

HILDA ROM (nee Jonke) age 89, originally from Seele, Gottschee, Austria, passed away on July 19, 2019. She was the beloved wife of the late Rudolf Rom; loving mother of Ernest, Walter, and Elizabeth; cherished daughter of the late Johann Jonke and Pauline (nee Jonke) Frank Hutter; dearest sister of Helene Mausser (husband Arnold, deceased), Annemarie Schwarz (husband Klaus, deceased), Bernhard Hutter (wife Linda), and the late Herbert Hutter (wife Joan); sister-in-law of  Louise, Mitzi, and the late Anna; dear aunt and great-aunt of many. She was especially proud of having worked at the Hollenden Hotel, where she achieved her baking talents.

Funeral mass on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Hilda at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) TUESDAY 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
