HELEN MAHER (nee Dever) age 86, loving mother of John (wife Julie, deceased), Thomas (wife Ann), and Barbara Pitrone (husband Daniel); devoted grandmother of Michael Maher, Catherine “Casie” Pitrone, Angela Maher Fabek (Reed), Seana Pitrone Dailey (Adam), John “Sean” Maher, James Maher, Erin Maher, and great-grandmother of Conor Dailey, Jameson Dailey, and Thomas Fabek; dearest sister of Theresa Dever Berry, Patrick Dever (Patty) and the late Michael “Mick” Dever (Mary, deceased), John Dever, Joe Dever, Annie Dever Hoban (John Eddy, deceased), and James Dever (Patricia, deceased); dear aunt and great-aunt of many; former wife of the late Thomas J.

Helen was born on December 29, 1929 in Newport, County Mayo, Ireland and passed away on February 12, 2016. She was a resident of Euclid for 28 years, formerly of Cleveland Heights. Helen graduated from High School in Ireland and was an assembler for GE. She loved gardening and was an avid reader. Helen will be remembered by her family and friends as an independent, fierce, loving and outgoing woman. She will be greatly missed.

Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, February 19, 2016 at Ss. Robert & William Catholic Church 367 E. 260th Street, Euclid, OH 44132 at 10 AM. Private Inurnment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Helen at THE CHURCH FRIDAY MORNING 9-10 AM.
