HELEN “BOBBIE” FRENCH

TWENTY YEARS OF LAUGHTER, FUN, AND JOKES

Mrs. Helen French had been volunteering and has been employed at St. Margaret Mary’s for twenty years. During that time, she has held a variety of positions and a whole gamut of working experiences. She was the president of the Ladies Guild, in charge of the A.V. Equipment, was in charge of many of the teacher’s luncheons, and many social functions. With tongue in cheek, I believe she kept the “principals on their toes.” Besides being conscientious and responsible, she has enlivened her tasks and those about her with her sunny disposition, cheerful demeanor and above all, her repertoire of jokes which have kept people in stitches for years. “Bobbie”, as she is better known, is retiring from “the daily grind” but she’ll be around to help in other ways. We will miss her, especially the principals she has served, and those she has worked with. Having had her four sons go through our school, she experienced both sides of the education field. She has received accolades from priests and nuns, as well as lay people and the children of our school. The man reason for these accolades is that she would help anyone who asked and at any given time, regardless of the personal sacrifice involved. She has always been one of the “best informed” persons in regard to St. Margaret Mary and its’ parishioners. Her lover for the parish and its’ people is indisputable, for the parish and its’ people are a great part of her life.

Thank you “Bobbie” for all that you gave and for all that you are. With your husband, Jim and sons, you have been an important part of our history. You are a loyal and faithful employee but much more, you are truly a “treasure” and St, Margaret Mary’s is proud of you. Gob bless and love you always.
