Helen Jeunnette

HELEN C. JEUNNETTE (nee Retzer) age 84, beloved wife for 67 years of Paul H.; loving mother of Doug (wife Joan), Jeff (wife Diane) and Tim (wife Rachele); devoted grandmother of Leah, Andrew (wife Erin), Lauren, Sam, Holly and great-grandmother of Lincoln; cherished daughter of the late Fred and Stephanie (nee Grey) Retzer; dearest sister of the late Kay Winland (husband Virgil). Helen is also survived by her cat Munchkin.

Helen was born on June 6, 1932 in Cleveland and passed away on January 26, 2017. She was a resident of Highland Heights since 1950. Helen was a member of Nottingham Baptist Church, where she was a deaconess, chairperson, and a member of the Ladies Group. From 1970-1990, Helen was the secretary for the Board of Education with Mayfield City Schools. She loved flower arranging, baking, reading and traveling all over the world, especially to visit friends in Florida and taking Alaskan cruises. Helen was loving, faithful and giving.  She was a great cook, very generous of her time, selfless and had a great sense of humor.

Celebration of Life Service TUESDAY January 31, 2017 at 11 AM at Nottingham Baptist Church 2921 Bishop Rd., Willoughby Hills, OH. Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Helen at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) MONDAY 3-5 & 6-8 PM.
