Harold “Larry” Wentz

Harold “Larry” Wentz age 77 of Concord passed away on Friday, October 17, 2014. He was born on May 10, 1937 in Altoona, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Harold F. and Katherine (Snyder) Wentz of Hanover, PA. Larry was a U.S. Army Veteran. He graduated Magna Cum Lade in Chemistry from Princeton University and also obtained a Master’s in Business degree from Harvard University. Larry was the Vice President of B.P. Chemicals for 40 years. He enjoyed reading and music, was a volunteer for the Lake Farmpark for 15 years and served on the Concord Twp. Zoning board. Larry is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joyce C. (nee Clack); sons, Jon (wife Lisa) and Fred; and grandchildren, Bradley, Alyssa and Jacob.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Larry’s name to the Lake Humane Society.

Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Private family services to celebrate Larry’s life will be held at the family’s convenience. Arrangements entrusted to THE DEJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY OF CHARDON (formerly Ritondaro).
