HAROLD J. “HARRY” GREENWALD age 79,  loving father of Kendra Kovalycsik (husband Michael) and Karen Stowers (husband Peter, deceased); devoted grandfather of Sara, Porter and Julia Stowers and Sara, Justin and Christian Kovalycsik; cherished brother of Isabel (late Vincent) Shaffer of Lake Mary, FL; Kenneth (Wanda) (late Ann) of Ransomville, Norman (Gwen) of Greenville, SC; and David (Sharon) of Venice, FL.; former husband of Trudi Lautz. U.S. Army National Guard Veteran.

Harry was born on November 7, 1936 in Niagara Falls, NY and passed away May 10, 2016.  He was most recently a resident of Aurora, after moving from Youngstown, New York. Prior to that he lived in Tampa, Florida.  Harry attended the University of Buffalo and served nine years in the U.S. Army National Guard.  He was a member of the LaSalle Masonic Lodge #1049 F & AM.  Harry was a construction manager and consultant by trade and enjoyed gardening, boating and fishing and researching his genealogy. He got the most enjoyment in life from his family, especially his two daughters and his grandchildren. Harry was a good provider and a natural leader, who was also loving and had a good sense of humor. He will be greatly missed.

Contributions may be made in Harry’s memory to American Cancer Society 10501 Euclid Avenue Cleveland, OH 44106.  Celebration of Life Service SUNDAY May 15, 2016 at 4 PM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Harry at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) SUNDAY 2-4 PM.
