GUS P. KAROS, age 87. Beloved son of the late Peter and Jennie (nee Kapogine). Cherished brother of Nicholas (wife Florence) and the late William P. Loving uncle of Meloney Herrick (husband Craig), Margo Karos (Doug), Paige Navratil (husband Craig) and great-uncle of Nick, Julia, Alex and Nicky. World War II U.S. Army Veteran.

A Funeral service will take place on Wednesday May 25, 2011 at 1:00 PM at All Saints Greek Orthodox Cathedral 102 N. Broadway St Joliet, IL 60435.

Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Joliet, IL.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Gus at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) on Saturday, May 21, 2011 from 2-6 PM. TRISAGION SERVICE SATURDAY at 5:00 PM.
