Gregory Alan Bakale

Gregory Alan Bakale, 58, of Montville, passed away on July 31, 2021 at University Hospital – Geauga Medical Center. He was born on August 7, 1962 in Euclid.

Greg grew up in Wickliffe where he attended Wickliffe High School, graduating in 1980. He was employed as head grounds keeper for Lakeland Community College. He was a very talented musician, playing numerous instruments. He was an avid out-doors man and especially enjoyed rock-climbing, camping and hiking.

Greg is survived by his son, Tim, sister Victoria Fairbanks (James), brothers Joseph and Anthony (Kathleen), and was an uncle and great-uncle.

He was preceded in death by his wife Theresa “Tess” (nee Baranauskas), and his parents Joseph Martin and Anita Louise (nee Westover) Bakale.

A private family gathering was held to honor the life of Greg Bakale. In lieu of flowers, contributions suggested to Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 94554, Cleveland, OH 44101. Arrangements entrusted to THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS.
