GRAYCE SPARANO TORRY WALKER age 89, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at her home in Granger, IN. Beloved wife of the late Richard M. Walker and Neil Richard Torry; loving mother of Jack Torry of Leesburg, VA, Matthew Torry of Hawaii and the late Pamela Henderson Levy and David Torry; devoted grandmother of Torry Corbett, Neil Henderson, and Michael Levy; cherished daughter of the late James and Mary Sparano.

Grayce and her first husband, Neil, both grew up in Garfield Heights, Ohio. She was a homemaker who also lived in Euclid and Mayfield Village, OH and Troy, MI and Granger, IN. She owned and managed a boutique consignment store in Granger, Indiana. She was an enthusiastic golfer who in September of 1973 won the Morley-Sanford Memorial trophy as most improved golfer. Her great love was the stage. In 1972, she played one of the eight royal wives in the production of The King and I at St. Dunstan’s Guild of Cranbrook, MI.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Grayce to The Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids in Washington, D.C.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Grayce at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) MONDAY, August 14, 2017 from 12 NOON-2 PM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon, OH.
