Grace Pasiadis

Grace Pasiadis (nee Vasilakes), age 85. Beloved mother of Christopher (deceased)(Vanessa) Pasiadis, Marian, Jeanne (Nicholas) Patitsas, and Cathy (Terry) Beckman. Grandmother of James and John Patitsas, George and Gregory Pasiadis, and Christie Beckman. Daughter of the late Peter and Argero. Dear sister of Mike (Maria) Vasilakes. Aunt of Antonia (David) Gates and Argerie (Paul) Vasilakes. Grace was one of the founding members of Sts. Constantine & Helen Cathedral, a member of the Philoptochos since 1949 and Daughters of Penelope for 55 years, served as church secretary for 15 years, volunteered in the church library, baked and worked for the festival, was a Sunday school teacher for 9 years, visited shut-ins and hospital patients, helped create a Greek recipe book, and also wrote recipes for the monthly church newsletter. She was employed as a medical technologist at University Hospital, Huron Road Hospital, and Hillcrest Hospital.

All Funeral Services are on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 10:00 am at Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 3352 Mayfield Road, Cleveland Heights, Ohio 44118. Rev. Dr. Stephen Callos and Rev. Peter Metallinos officiating. Donations welcomed to Philoptochos Society. Interment Lake View Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the DEJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME, 4600 MAYFIELD ROAD (JUST EAST OF GREEN ROAD) on FRIDAY from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Triasagion Service on Friday at 7:00 pm.
