Grace Davis

GRACE I. DAVIS (nee Baldwin) age 98, beloved wife of the late William E.; loving mother of Peter A. (wife Elizabeth) and William A. (wife Grace); devoted grandmother of 4 and great-grandmother of 1; cherished daughter of the late Elmer and Christine (nee Walker) Baldwin; dearest sister of Christine Lang and the late Ruth, James “Bud,” and David Baldwin; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Grace was born on February 13, 1921 in Meadville, Pennsylvania and passed away on September 9, 2019 in Richmond Heights. She graduated from Meadville High School in 1939 and then graduated from Allegheny College in 1943 with a degree in economics. Grace was a resident of Highland Heights for many years where she was a founding member and President of the Highland Heights Garden Club. She loved nature, gardening, flower design and crafts. Grace enjoyed feeding and watching birds and wildlife. She will always be remembered as a strong, generous and loyal woman who deeply valued her long-time friendships. She was an avid Cleveland Indians and Cavaliers fan, while staying loyal to the Pittsburgh Steelers during football season. Grace will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, September 13, 2019 at St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church at 10 AM. Cremation following by DeJohn Crematory. Private burial at Knollwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Grace at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) THURSDAY 4-8 PM.
