GLORIA M. KLUK (nee Smargiassi) age 84; beloved wife of the late Martin; loving mother of David (wife Patricia), Sandra, Debra Nelson (husband Michael), Laura Koch (husband Robert) and Robert (wife Denise); devoted grandmother of Jennifer and Stephanie, Aron, Jason and Seth, Adrienne, Anthony, Heather, Ilona and Anna, Martin and Chelsea, and great-grandmother of Lauren, Jason, Daniel, Milo, Olive and Anthony; dearest daughter of the late Jennie (nee Yafanaro) and Santino Smargiassi; dear sister of Joseph Smargiassi (wife Helen) and Clare DiFranco (husband Ray, deceased); dear aunt and great-aunt of many.
Gloria was a parishioner of St. Clare Catholic Church and formerly of St. Margaret Mary. A graduate of East High School, she worked as a secretary for the City of South Euclid. She was a member of the Italian American Club and a crochet group. In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her family and girl friends, attending her grand-kids’ sports and listening to Tony Bennett. She especially enjoyed traditional Italian meals at the holidays and keeping her family together. Her family will fondly remember her as a wise, caring, generous, take-charge, organized woman who was a good adviser, constantly thought of others and demonstrated how to care for others through her own actions.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, March 28, 2014 at St. Anselm Catholic Church (Chesterland) at 10 AM. Burial following in All Souls Cemetery.
Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Gloria at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) THURSDAY 3-5 and 6-8 PM.
