GIUSEPPE “PEPPE” DIFINI age 73, beloved husband for 54 years of Concetta (nee Milaro); loving father of Anna Gardner (husband Ronald), Rita Danhoffer-Difini, Gaetano (wife Lisa Marie) and Phillip; devoted grandfather of Dana, Timothy, Joseph, Lillianna, Alyssa, Gaetano Anthony and Dominic; cherished son of the late Gaetano and Anna (nee Grasso); survived by 3 brothers and 2 sisters all of Sicily; dear uncle and great-uncle of many.

Giuseppe was born on August 10, 1943 in Catania, Sicily, Italy and passed away on June 19, 2017. He was a resident of South Russell for 2 years, formerly of South Euclid and a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. Peppe attended school in Italy and moved to the United States of America in 1966. He was the owner/operator of Peppe & Sons cement contractor and continues to work side by side with his son, Guy, under Gaetano Cement Contractors until June 17, 2017. Peppe loved to play cards, especially poker and loved food. He enjoyed making wine, loved his cigars, gardening and work. Peppe will be remembered as a hardworking, family oriented, generous and giving man who had a huge heart. He enjoyed family social events and was a great friend of many. Peppe will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, June 23, 2017 at Holy Angels Catholic Church at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Peppe at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) THURSDAY 4-8 PM.
