Georgette Chalhoub

GEORGETTE CHALHOUB (nee Bou Chaaya) age 91, beloved wife of the late Hassib; loving mother of John (wife Nawal), Jeanette Daher (husband Abdo, deceased), Walid (wife Patricia), Elie (wife Pascale), Laure Boustani (husband Tony), Nawal Zammar (husband Ziad) and Sol (wife Mirva); devoted teta of 22  and great-teta of 19; cherished daughter of the late Elias and Frosina  (nee Atalla) Bou Chaaya; dearest sister of Abdala and Tanious Bou Chaaya and Afife Rabbat; proceeded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister all of Lebanon; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Georgette was born and raised in Lebanon and moved to Cleveland in 1980. She was a long-time member of St. Maron Catholic Church. Georgette was a homemaker who loved to knit and cook and was very fond of poetry. Her family will always remember how loving and caring she was. She was very social and had a great sense of humor. Georgette was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed dearly.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, October 7, 2022 at 11:00AM at St. Maron Catholic Church 1245 Carnegie Ave, Cleveland, OH 44115
