George Mangano

GEORGE C. MANGANO, age 28; beloved son of Anthony and Anne Marie (nee Turk); treasured brother of Megan Fogle (husband Kevin) and Frank; cherished grandson of John and the late Peggy Turk and Bill and Grace Mangano; loving companion of Vicki Eberhard; dear nephew, great-nephew, cousin and friend of many; also survived by his canine companion Mack.

Born May 7, 1986 in Cleveland, George was a resident of Thompson for 4 years, after moving from Chardon. A graduate of St. Mary (Chardon) Grade School and Riverside High School, he worked as a laborer in the Beachwood Service department. George was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Chardon and enjoyed golf, hockey, baseball, motorcycles, hunting, riding his ATV, working and playing the guitar. He especially loved helping other people and sharing his talent for fixing things. George will be fondly remembered as a kind, generous, friendly man who worked hard, helped others and was well liked.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, October 18, 2014 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 401 North St. Chardon OH 44024 at 11 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of George at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY 2-4 and 5-8 PM.
