GEORGE R. JAROSCAK age 73, died suddenly in Canada on Monday September 26, 2011. Beloved husband for 48 years of the late Sandra A. (nee Sollitto). Loving father of Jeffrey (wife Susan) and Jennifer. Adored Poppy of Jessica, Grace and Joy. Cherished son of the late George and Margaret (nee Surkala). Dearest brother of Bernard M. and brother-in-law of Frank and Carol Sollitto and the late Ben Sollitto (wife Nancy), Lucille Crofford, Carl and Marge Sollitto. Dear uncle of many. Treasured friend to those who knew him. Contributions may be made in George’s memory to Hospice of the Western Reserve 300 E. 185th St Cleveland, OH 44119. A Tribute Service to celebrate George’s life will take place on Friday, October 7, 2011 at 6:00 PM at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) with a dinner reception to follow. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on FRIDAY from 5:00 to 6:00 PM.

George was an educator for 34 years. He was an Elementary School Principal in the Mentor School System and was a pioneer in the field of instructional technology and innovation. He exemplified living life to the fullest, and was a true friend to those who knew him. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. George loved to golf and fish. He enjoyed traveling and vacationing and especially enjoyed his cottage in Canada.
