GEORGE J. OROSZ age 93, beloved husband for 63 years of the late Mary Helen (nee Palmer); loving father of Charles (deceased) (wife Nancy), Constance Waggoner (husband David), Holly Quigley (husband Dennis), Thad (wife Kaye), Greg (wife Eileen) and Cynthia Dean (husband Terry); devoted grandfather of 18 and great-grandfather of 11; dearest brother of Elizabeth Paull, Sr. Mary Francel, SND and the late Stephen, Elmer and Andrew; dear uncle and great-uncle of many. WWII U.S. Army Veteran.

George (Greg to family and friends) was born on April 25, 1924 and passed away on June 24, 2017. He was born in Toledo and relocated to Cleveland when he married Mary Helen. He was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church for 30 years where served as an usher. In WWII, he served in the Philippine Islands. He worked as a purchasing agent for the majority of his career. He enjoyed reading mysteries and listening to classical music. During his later years, the best of his times was spent with his sisters and his children. He will be dearly missed.

Lane Ave. Columbus, Ohio 43221.   Mass of Christian Burial with military honors Saturday, July 1, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church 401 North St, Chardon, OH 44024 at 10 AM. Cremation following by DeJohn Crematory. Burial will take place at a later date at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of George at THE DeJOHN Funeral Home & Crematory of Chardon (formerly Ritondaro) 126 South St.  (Rt. 44, south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) FRIDAY 4-8 PM.
