George J. Frantz

GEORGE J. FRANTZ, age 83. Beloved husband for 60 years of Carmella (nee Consiglio). Loving father of Mark T. (Martha) of CA., Christine A., Matthew G. (Kellie) and the late Victoria C. Devoted grandfather of Nicole M., Lauren R. Pfeifer (Josh), A.J. Bryant and Mason V. Cherished son of the late Lloyd and Loretta (nee McGushin). Dearest brother of Richard and the late Ruth Furbee and Winifred Smith. Dear brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle of many.

George was a resident of the South-Euclid / Lyndhurst area for 43 years and graduated from Collinwood High School, John Carroll University and Cleveland Marshall Law School. He was a long-time member of St. Gregory the Great Parish in South Euclid and was a member of the Bingo Committee. He was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran and associated with the Cleveland and Lake County Bar Associations. George had been in private practice for the last 10 years before that worked as an attorney for Stewart and DeChant Law Firm and Walter Mahle & Frantz. His family remembers George as a devoted father and grandfather. He was a charming man and had a wonderful sense of humor.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 20, 2010 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish at 11:00 AM. Interment following at All Souls Cemetery.

The family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of George at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) SUNDAY 3-7 PM.
