GEORGE C. LOTT
Mass of Christian Burial for George C. Lott, 78, will be on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 10:00 AM at The Church of St. Mary, 401 North Street, Chardon. Mr. Lott died on Saturday at Blossom Hill in Huntsburg. He was a 23-year resident of Chardon and previously lived in Burton.
George worked many years in the financial community and was a known and recognized Banker in many Geauga County banks. He started at Chardon Savings and was instrumental in helping start many others including Lake National Bank. He held office in many charitable organizations over the years.
Mr. Lott was a proud Korean Conflict U.S. Air Force Veteran. George enjoyed golfing, building models, painting, travel and most especially being with his family. He loved holidays and being with his family enjoying good food. George is described by his family as wonderful, patient, kind-hearted and one that life intrigued him greatly.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years Ann (nee Cimaglio); his children George (Kathy), Gina (Randy) Naylor and Lisa (Jason) Lusk; grandchildren Ryan, Kelly, Randy Jr., Julie and Jamie; sister Sara Jancsek; in-laws Ray & Janice Cimaglio and Lucille & Ron Frederick; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Lott was preceded in death by his infant son Michael; siblings Adelaide Mizich, Charles, William, and Virginia Graebing; and sister-in-law Cecilia Clark.
Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of George at The DeJohn Funeral Home & Crematory of Chardon (formerly Ritondaro) 126 South St. (Rt. 44, south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
